IXOYE Global Entrepreneurship Network          (IXGEN), Inc.

‘Promoting A Global Perspective For Micro Entrepreneurs'

History

IXOYE Global Entrepreneurship Network IXGEN) was founded on March 18, 2011, and its main purpose is to encourage, promote, and facilitate global entrepreneurship among and between micro entrepreneurs in the USA and Africa.

IXOYE Global Entrepreneurship Network (IXGEN) Incorporated, is a Christian-based nonprofit organization created to provide non-financial business development services to assist in creating, strengthening and expanding grassroots micro and small enterprises, moving them out of the box, and guiding them toward national and international levels of entrepreneurship.

IXGEN is committed to ‘Promoting a Global Perspective for Micro Entrepreneurs’ in The USA and in Africa.

We strive for an increase in the number of American and African women-owned enterprises that have a global presence. This we do through travel, awareness and capacity building, and other training, as well as encouraging active participation in the global marketplace.

We are also also passionate about raising awareness of business ownership as a career option for teens and young adults. So youth economic empowerment is an important aspect of the work that we are doing to strengthen families, and build strong economic communities.

Core Values
Our success will be rooted in the unwavering commitment of the Board of Directors, staff, volunteers, and partners to our founding principles:

  • Recognition of the inherent value of providers, partners, volunteers, donors, and staff
  • Respect for one another within the organization, and communities
  • Accountability, transparency, and integrity in all our actions
  • Spiritual growth toward self-determination and self-worth for all participants
  • Efficient use of resources to achieve measurable, lasting impact of our services

Collaborations and Partnerships

As IXGEN develops its programs it will potentially collaborate/partner with individual entrepreneurs, philanthropists, development practitioners, governmental and non-governmental agencies, and faith-based organizations that are engaged in economic and community development in the USA, and Africa.

Our Statement of Faith

IXGEN is an incorporated nonprofit organization that believes in God, His word, the resurrected power of His son Jesus Christ, and the Holy Ghost. We believe that with God all things are possible, and therefore we have the faith to do and succeed in all that we have set out as expressed in our mission and vision statements. We can do all things through Jesus Christ who gives us power and strength. We uphold our Vision and Mission on Christian principles and serve all communities as part of God’s kingdom. Therefore we do not restrict our programs and services on the basis of religion, sex, race, color, ethnicity or national origin. We stand on God’s proclamation in the beginning as he blessed humankind: “Be fruitful and multiply; fill the earth and subdue it; have dominion over the fish of the sea, over the birds of the air, and over every living thing that moves on the earth” (Gen.1:28). As God who has given us the power to get wealth (Deut 8:18), we are therefore committed to helping all of God’s people prosper and take dominion, through business ownership based on global perspectives.
