To equip small businesses for being successful in the global economy, we partner with various local and international agencies, and private sector operators to provide services that would expose our clients to information, training, and experience to help them achieve significant results.

Theme: ‘ Thinking For A Change’
The iYEP 2013 Summer Project
This summer’s program will be the second empowerment program. In 2012 when the program was launched, 15 youth from around metro Atlanta successfully completed the training. This year we are targeting to train 40 more, as well as have more people and community stakeholders involved.
The 6-session (30 hours) Training Program is designed to give participants an all-round introduction to creating and managing their own business, learning basic business principles, and applying spiritual principles to all aspects of life, business, and community leadership. The training workshop will also give participants the opportunity of acquiring information and skills that would give them better life and career options.
Project Mission
To teach and expose entrepreneurship to young people from under-served communities so they can become economically productive, prosper and live enriched lives through business ownership. Reinforced life skills will give them confidence to unlock their true potential and become successful citizens and business leaders.
Purpose
To actively engage youths in their personal and economic development, and empower them to become conscious of who they are, and their roles in their homes and communities.
Theme
‘Thinking For a Change’. We help participants to bring about change in their lives by: Thinking the Right Thought; For the Right Reason; In the Right Environment; With the Right People; and, At the Right Time.
The program is from June 15 to July 20, 2013. Workshops will be held for five hours on Saturday mornings for six weeks, at the Fellowship Hall of Peace Lutheran Church at Columbia Drive, Decatur. The curriculum will be delivered through practical teaching, videos, interactive group sessions, field visits, motivational speakers, and more.
On July 27 successful participants will be awarded certificates of achievement, and all the partners, sponsors, and other supporters will be recognized at a public event.
Cost: $50 per participant
Training materials, a binder, snacks, and a branded T-shirt will be provided.

Good Morning,
I would like to thank Ms. Emmenette Mason for informing Missionary Tigner at the Christian Jubilee F.W.B.C. about the Youth Empowerment Program and encouraging us, youth, to sign up for the program. At first I wasn’t interested in the program and didn’t understand why Missionary Tigner kept pushing for us to sign up, until now. Throughout this program I have learned valuable information and was exposed to different ways of thinking. All the speakers who came presented information from different perspectives, which broadened my view on how to become an entrepreneur. In retrospect, I am very thankful I came because I’ve learned a lot that I will be to put to use as I begin my journey to become an entrepreneur.

I would like to start off by giving thanks to Ms. Mason and all the speakers that came out to help in enlightening us on entrepreneurship. What I have gained from the program is the importance of being unique and having that slight edge that will set me aside from others. I have also learned that you cannot do business without including God in all you do. I will use all the tools, notes, and knowledge given to me to begin my journey in beginning my business.
